Was for a 'net friend, Jacqueline. It's the first one I've made as an MP3-only comp, so I put it together quickly and didn't have to faff around burning it, but on the other hand it's in lossy quality.

As usual, there's no theme or title, just some good songs. I'm slightly worried that I've broken the 'one artist - one track' rule with the inclusion of tracks by TCTC and Rhysmix, but heyho.

Starts off heavy, goes quite mellow, builds up again, gets a bit intense, goes morose, then cheers up at the end. Not bad at all, even if I do say so myself!

1. Head (Live at FujiRock 2006) - The Cooper Temple Clause. Ripped from a video the band posted last year. This track has yet to be released on an album (due on 22nd of January), and this version is totally unreleased.
2. Daylight Robbery - Imogen Heap. (From the album 'Speak For Yourself').
3. The Gods of Not Very Much - Mansun (B side from the 4 EP (Wide Open Space), released in 1996).
4. Death Threat - Death in Vegas. From their second album 'The Contino Sessions'.
5. Hooker With a Penis - Tool. From the album Ænima.
6. Lady of the Flowers - Placebo. From debut eponymously titled album.
7. I Spy - Pulp. From 'Different Class'.
8. Feeling Yourself Disintegrate - The Flaming Lips. From 'The Soft Bulletin' (one of my top 4 albums ever). Partly because they played it when I saw them live last year, and that reminded me how amazing the song is.
9.  Sao Paulo - Guillemots. Closing track from their rather excellent album 'Through the Windowpane'.
10. The Book - Magazine. Old B-side, made available on the rarities album 'Scree'. Pretentious spoken-word gubbins, but kinda appealing to me.
11. Chaos - UNKLE. From the album 'Psyence Fiction'. Everybody talked about how pretentious and over-blown this album was, but I really enjoyed it! This tracks quite mellow.
12. The Last Cigarette - Ed Harcourt. From 'The Beautiul Lie', a loverly little ditty about execution, terminal illness, and considering suicide.
13. And That's Why - Kenickie. From criminally-ignored second album 'Get In'. Lauren+cello=great.
14. Walk You Home - Super Furry Animals. From LoveKraft.
15. The Land of do as you Please - Jocasta. B-side from the single 'Go', released in 1996.
16. Tony's Theme - Pixies. From Surfer Rosa, about a rather odd superhero called Tony. Go figure.
17. Exciting Whistle-ah (Demo) - Mclusky. Originally a B-side to something or other, but I found it on the 'Mcluskyism' collection released last year.
18. The Jeep Song - The Dresden Dolls. From their eponymously title album. All about being reminded about someone because of the car they drive. The devil is in the detail...
